Calling all moms --
I know it can be challenging as a woman in your 30s or 40s who has likely made it this far in her life by spending approximately zero hours and zero brain power learning the categories and functions of various construction vehicles. Please feel no shame in this, as it is not at all useful for a grown woman to do so unless your career requires it. This information is not included in commonly-read parenting books, and this symptom of motherhood is rarely discussed until you happen to be experiencing it yourself. Please know you’re not alone.
There is a subset of mothers who look around their floor at any given time of the day and find no less than twenty (yes, twenty!) different variations of construction vehicles at their feet. Rest assured, this is a phase your child will grow out of with time. The purpose of this guide is to give you the need-to-know information to be able to survive this time in parenting and preserve your sanity.
Hi! I'm Laura, a 30-something mama raising her 2 little dudes in southern California. It's been quite a journey and this is my way to try to make sense of it all. This is a safe space for all moms to get some laughs, recommendations and feel like they are not alone.
